Bio:

Alagon Gorton was born in an Atlantis colony under the Indian Ocean to a metal smith father and an architect mother. He and his older sister were taught by their parents to enjoy living life to the fullest, making the most of whatever situation came their way. While their parents imparted to them the values of working hard, being dependable, and acting with integrity and honesty, Alagon had very little life ambitions and wandered the world’s oceans for a period of years, trying to find something to invest his life in. Two years of traveling the seas found Alagon in Atlantis during one of Attuma’s attempts to overthrow Aquaman. While quickly suppressed, Attuma’s attack left dozens dead including a small girl Alagon had befriended upon entering the city. Her death shook him to the core and opened Alagon’s eyes to the reality of the world around him; that evil existed, it sought to harm the innocent, and that it was the responsibility of those who could oppose it to do so. Alagon enlisted in the Atlantean military, serving for 5 years and rising to the rank of lieutenant.

His performance led to his superiors approaching him with an offer to join a Spec Ops team comprised of soldiers from a variety of nations, created to address and neutralize threats posed by enemies of the world at large. His service with the team lasted only two years, but saw Alagon become good friends with another team member, The Hunted. At the dissolution of the team, Alagon decided to use his military experience to feed himself through mercenary work. It was a profitable venture and one Alagon was continuing in when he was approached by The Hunted with an invite to join the Minutemen, a superhero team based in Boston. After due consideration, Alagon accepted and began his superhero career.
